What is CineMediterra?

CineMediterra Film Festival is a year-round film program in London, with each edition spotlighting a different Mediterranean country. Screenings will be hosted at Hackney Picturehouse, a renowned independent cinema known for its diverse and dynamic programming.

The festival aims to establish CineMediterra as a leading platform for Mediterranean cinema in London, engaging diverse audiences and fostering a lasting cultural impact.

PROGRAMME

At each event, we select two feature films and five to six short films from a Mediterranean country. Following a Q&A session with the director, we offer a unique glimpse into the stories, traditions, and landscapes that define this vibrant part of the world.
